Senior Technical Adviser on trade promotion & facilitation and export development with 25 years of professional management and business development experience in Southeast Asia - as corporate executive, as entrepreneur and as individual consultant in the private sector as well as in international development assistance.

Interest in sector development with focus on securing income opportunities for rural poor and vulnerable households through generating and leveraging private sector investment in value added market chains.

Since 2001, project management (team leader) for the EU and for UN agencies in trade related capacity building of public & private sector entities (TSI/BSO and SME) in Indochina. Familiar with the development needs and challenges of public and private sector agencies and enterprises, as well as with the interests and concerns of donors. 

Fluent in English & German with working knowledge of French, Italian and Thai. German national, resident of Thailand.
